Apple compote

Makes 500g apple compote

5 medium apples
2 tbsp agave syrup
1 tsp vanille butter
1 tsp cinnamon

Peel the apples and cut into cubes. Transfer to a small saucepan and add the agave syrup, vanille butter and cinnamon. Heat the apples and stew them for 15 minutes on medium high heat. Mix regularly. You will see that the apples will begin to caramelize. Turn of the heat and let cool down a bit. Add the compote to some coconut yogurt and granola for a heartwarming breakfast.

*instead of vanille butter you can also use vanille extract.
